Apple is contemplating bringing again the 12-inch MacBook, in response to a tweet by “yeus1122.” The Sellers Analysis Group (that’s me) says this ain’t gonna occur.
Earlier rumors have stated such a laptop computer would sport an M2 or “binned-down” M3 processor. The smaller laptop computer would purportedly be focused to college students and common customers, not professional customers.
This has been rumored for a while. I feel that, if a 12-inch laptop computer does arrive, Apple is muddling its line-up with MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Professional fashions (and this isn’t even counting the iPad line-up).Why not merely provide MacBook Airs and MacBook Execs in varied sizes for, respectively, common customers {and professional} customers?
The unique 12-inch MacBook (pictured under) was introduces in March 2015. It was revised in 2017, then discontinued in July 2018, a yr after the discharge of the MacBook Air with Retina show.
