The standard positional accuracy supplied by standalone GNSS is 3-10 meters, which is appropriate for automotive purposes reminiscent of navigation and emergency name. With the emergence of excessive precision GNSS, in a position to mitigate the affect of errors, sub-decimeter positional accuracy is feasible and it turns into usable for extra superior purposes reminiscent of C-V2X and autonomous driving. Naturally, to be relevant for these safety-critical purposes, different preconditions reminiscent of availability and information integrity should even be met.
This poster exhibits the several types of error sources and explains how excessive precision GNSS calculates and transmits error correction information to autos, enabling new automotive purposes for GNSS.
